Well if a recent “leaked” screenshot is anything to go by it might just be.
Burning Crusade Classic will release on June 1st, according to screenshots of an advertisement briefly seen and quickly removed from the http://Battle.net launcher. A number of Reddit users spotted the reveal in their Battle Net clients that could point to a June 1st release date for TBC OR the TBC Pre-patch.
It certainly wouldn’t be the first time Blizzard has ruined a reveal via their own resources. At a recent BlizzCon someone hacked the event printer and got a glimpse of Shadowlands early, and the recent Chains of Domination patch was recently plastered all over the Blizzard PR News hub. Blizzard also recently gave away that the Daisy charity pet had hit its target goal.
For now, we’ll have to wait and see what Blizzard has planned, but it looks like June 1st could well be the date for something TBC related.
A recent policy change in the World of Warcraft EULA has made the long-standing practice of multi-boxing or mirroring against the Blizzard terms of service.
